See if you could relate to this. I know that it took me awhile to really absorb it. You wake up in the morning, turn on the news and hear about all that is going on with people in our society.

My daily ritual is to also put on Sports Center and catch up on what is going on in the world of sports – see all that is going on with all these individuals. It’s then time to pick up the newspaper and read about all that happens with the people in the world. It could be late morning, noon or even later in the day before you’ve taken even a minute or a second to think about what is going on with you.

Yes, even beyond what could happen when we get a phone call where we are pressed into a conversation that centers around somebody else’s faults or issues or all of those things, we don’t take the time to settle back and look at what is going on with ourselves.

That is of the utmost importance if we are going to grow spiritually and if we are going to grow in our relationships with one another. It takes an incredible amount of focus and time to put on ourselves. It is something that we don’t even realize it gets away from us so easily.

A dog, even though they offer the most incredible amount of love, kindness and affection to others, they are quite often examining themselves in different ways with their senses, with their sense of smell, their sense of hearing, their usually wrapped up a good part of their day with a evaluating themselves.

We need to do the same thing. Just like the tree that bends very beautifully when the winds come along, we need to have that sense of self so that when the winds come along in our life we will have a better sense of who we are and where we are going.

Take a close look at this, I think you will be amazed at what you will find but be amazed in a positive way. For once you turn this into where you want it to go, the Noble Strength Spirituality will really start to take hold in your life as well as the lives of the ones that you love and cherish the most.

  • Take a real interest in yourself by looking at two positive traits that define you & celebrate them
  • Discover one trait you would like to improve. When you do, celebrate the improvement.
  • Be like the powerful tree that also bends and do the same when something difficult comes upon you this week.
